On May 17, 18, 19th at Castellón (Spain), Jaume-I University organises the 5th Conference on Elderly and New technologies. You are invited to submit a paper, present it in the conference,  participate, and discover the latest innovations and projects related to senior citizens and new technologies. Topics covered:

Technology for the people: devices, programs, and services that facilitate the improvement of the health and the people. Physical and mental health facilitated by technology. Biotechnology, social context, ethical aspects.

World information technology (May 17th): digital adoption and digital inclusion, use of information and communication technologies. Social context of the technologies and the elderly. Integration and participation of the senior citizens through technology.

Computer enhanced education: Educational gerontology, andragogy. Educational technology (tools) and learning through technology (models and pedagogies). Online and virtual learning.


If you wish to attend the conference, registration is mandatory and it gives direct access to the conference and materials. However, if you wish to apply for a presentation, please skip this section and proceed to the ”Call for papers” section below.

  • Students: 35€ (20€ only one day)
  • Professionals, staff, and researchers: 80€

  • Authors and speakers: 200€ (see ”Call for Papers” below for grant options)

Registration fee should be paid before April 21st. After that date, payment is still possible but with extra cost.

Call for Papers

Delivery date for abstracts presentation has been extended until the 28th of February.

If you want to make a presentation, participation in the posters session, in a workshop or your paper to be included in the Ariadna Journal, first you should be registered and have your abstract accepted.
